Description:
We are a small family farm working in partnership with the Doe Bay Cafe via the Seed to Plate Program. Our goal is to provide the cafe with year-round produce. Nearly all of our organic produce is delivered by wheelbarrow, never having the opportunity to even catch a short ride in a fossil-fueled vehicle. We focus on heirloom varieties and follow sustainable gardening practices. Every Sunday during the summer season we offer a free garden tour to the public, allowing a closer look at the dirt behind the local food renaissance. We will be accepting interns for the 2009 internship program.
