Description:
We bought and moved the Iris Test Garden 3 years ago. It has been one huge learning process! The test garden originated in Yakima in the 20's, was bought and moved by Austin Morgan in the early forties to Walla Walla and then moved north to St. John by Leifters in the late 80's. These are well tested iris! We sell cut flowers, potted iris and iris rhizomes. You are invited to come and view the garden during bloom season and make your selections. We dig after the blooms have died off and ship or deliver to the local farmers markets at the end of June. Viewing the garden is free. We have plenty of benches in the shade and wide grassed walkways for wheelchair accessibility. We open in the spring when the irises bloom, send an email for verification.
