The Portland Chapter of the national Chefs Collaborative is involved inthe surrounding communities with their Adopt-A-School Program which takes local chefs and local ingredients into the schools for an interactive lesson with the children.

The local members also coordinate and present an annual Seafood Seminar bringing suppliers, chefs, and consumers information concerning the insurance of sustainable agriculture resources.
